This page describes what data this site collects, why, for how long, and what you can demand. The processing described is what the site actually does — not filler text.
Data controller

Applicable framework
VARSO CONSULTING is a Monegasque sole proprietorship. The Principality of Monaco is not a member of the European Union: it has its own personal-data protection regime — Law No. 1.165 of 23 December 1993, modernised by Law No. 1.565 of 3 December 2024 — overseen by the Commission de Contrôle des Informations Nominatives (CCIN). This regime is the framework applicable to VARSO CONSULTING. In addition, as this site also addresses people residing in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU Regulation 2016/679) applies to the processing that concerns them. For all our visitors, we apply the higher level of protection of the two frameworks.
Purposes and data collected
Contact form
Name, work email, company (optional), type of need, industry (optional), message. Legal basis: your consent, collected via an explicit checkbox. This data is used only to answer your request. It is never resold, never used for any other purpose, and never used for unsolicited prospecting.
AI Brief newsletter
Email address only. Legal basis: your consent. Subscription uses double opt-in: your address is recorded only after you click the confirmation link sent by email. Until you click, nothing is kept. The confirmation link does not contain your address in clear text: it is encrypted inside it. Unsubscribe in one click from any send.
Audience measurement
Vercel Analytics, without cookies and without any persistent identifier. No personal data is collected for this purpose, and no profile is built.
Retention periods
- Contact messages
- 3 years from the last exchange, then deletion.
- AI Brief subscribers
- Until you unsubscribe — immediate, in one click.
- Unconfirmed sign-ups
- 48 hours. After that, the confirmation link expires and nothing is kept.
- Technical logs
- According to Vercel’s and Resend’s own retention periods, over which we have no control.
Processors
Two processors, and only two: Resend (email delivery and subscriber management) and Vercel (site hosting and audience measurement). No other company has access to your data. No data is ever sold, transferred or shared for commercial purposes.
Data transfer outside the European Union
Our e-mails are sent through Resend, and our site is hosted by Vercel. For Resend, the sending region can be European (Ireland), but the account data — including our subscribers’ addresses, metadata and sending logs — is stored in the United States: a transfer outside the European Union therefore does take place, and we would rather tell you than leave it out. This transfer, like the one to Vercel (United States), is framed: we have entered into a Data Processing Agreement with each of these two processors, incorporating the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, which provide appropriate safeguards within the meaning of the GDPR.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to rectify it, to erase it, to restrict processing, to object, and to portability. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without having to justify yourself. To exercise these rights, write to s.varoutsikos@varso.mc: we reply, and we act on your request.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: for the Principality of Monaco, the Commission de Contrôle des Informations Nominatives (CCIN — ccin.mc); if you reside in the European Union, the supervisory authority of your country (in France, the CNIL — cnil.fr).
